Senior Electronics Assembler

Notes from Hiring Manager:

> Need people who have built cables and harnesses, people who have worked with solder sleeves (don?t need printed circuit board experience or a lot of experience in soldering).
> Most experience in complex cables and harnesses.
> Air vehicle or shelter experience would be a huge plus, any Army experience a huge plus as well.
> Looking for 10+ years? experience, need to be able to hit the ground running and start immediately.
> Hours are 7:00 AM ? 3:30 PM but they?re flexible
Summary

The Senior Electronics Assembler will perform complex assembly of harnesses, cables and electronic parts and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities / Duties:
~ Sets up and fabricates complex electronic assemblies utilizing various forms of written and oral instructions, automatic and semi-automatic machines and hand tools. Specific duties vary by workload and cover a range of assembly techniques including very complex harness and cable fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly.
~ Performs administrative tasks associated with assembly operations which include Manufacturing Order documentation, production problem transmittal generation, and shelf life maintenance.
~ Resolves complex manufacturing problems.
~ Maintains good housekeeping, safety standards, and calibration requirements.
~ Sets up production equipment.
~ Practices Total Quality principles and concepts.

~ Specialized and extensive experience in building harnesses, cables and electronic assembly techniques.
~ Military and commercial quality specifications.
~ Company and Manufacturing policies and procedures.
~ Planning, leadership, and organization skills
~ Ability to read and interpret complex instructions, procedures, and engineering drawings/specifications.
~ Ability to apply cost and quality control methods.
~ Ability to set up and operate all fabrication equipment in area assigned.
~ Ability to concentrate while discriminating colors and small details.
~ Ability to apply math skills and shop math
~ Hand and eye coordination, finger and hand dexterity.
~ Electrostatic discharge procedures and methods.
~ Ability to work independently and/or work well with others while employing company principles.

EDUCATION:
~ Typically requires 4 or more years of related experience with a high school diploma, or equivalent education or experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties
